City Wide Revival
The City-Wide Revival is an annual gathering held each October where churches from across our city come together in unity to seek the presence and power of God. This sacred time of worship, prayer, and preaching is designed to refresh the hearts of believers, strengthen the fellowship of the Church, and bring spiritual renewal to our community. Each year, pastors, ministers, choirs, and congregations join in a spirit of revival as the Gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed with power and conviction. It is our prayer that through this revival, lives will be renewed, faith will be strengthened, and our city will be drawn closer to God.
Holy Week Services
The Holy Week Services are a sacred time each year when churches across our fellowship gather to remember and reflect on the suffering, sacrifice, and victory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Throughout this special week leading up to Resurrection Sunday, pastors, ministers, and congregations come together in worship, prayer, and powerful preaching centered on the events of Christ’s journey to the cross. These services are designed to deepen our understanding of His sacrifice, strengthen our faith, and prepare our hearts to celebrate the joy and power of the resurrection. As we reflect on the cross and the empty tomb, we are reminded that through Christ’s sacrifice, we have redemption, hope, and new life.
Good Friday Services
The Good Friday Service is a solemn and sacred gathering where we come together to remember the suffering, sacrifice, and saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. On this holy day, pastors, ministers, and congregations unite in worship, prayer, scripture, and preaching that reflect on the seven last sayings of Christ and the significance of His sacrifice for the redemption of humanity. As we pause to reflect on the cross, we are reminded of the depth of God’s love and the price that was paid for our salvation. Though the day remembers the suffering of Calvary, it also points us toward the hope and victory of Resurrection Sunday.
Preacher Extravaganza
The Preachers Extravaganza is a monthly gathering designed to equip, encourage, and develop Associate Ministers in their calling to serve in the ministry. Held once a month on Sunday evening, this special service provides intentional training and instruction in various areas of ministry, helping Associate Ministers grow in preaching, leadership, and servant discipleship. Following the time of training, the evening continues with a powerful worship service led by Associate Ministers and designed specifically to give them opportunities to exercise their gifts in preaching, prayer, and worship leadership. The Preachers Extravaganza is both a learning environment and a worship experience, preparing the next generation of ministers to serve the Church with excellence and faithfulness.
BPMC Monthly Meeting
The Baptist Pastors and Ministers Conference of Omaha (BPMC) Meeting is a regular gathering where pastors, ministers, and faith leaders come together for fellowship, collaboration, and spiritual encouragement. The conference meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Pleasant Green Baptist Church, 5555 Larimore Street, Omaha, Nebraska. These meetings provide an opportunity for clergy to discuss ministry initiatives, strengthen relationships among churches, and work together for the spiritual and social uplift of our community. Please note that if Omaha Public Schools are closed due to weather or other circumstances, the BPMC meeting will be postponed to ensure the safety of our members and guests.
